Lorenzo is Vice President for Kaufman Investments and is responsible for acquisition, financing and investment management activities. During his time at the firm, he has spearheaded over $1 billion in commercial real estate transactions in New York. Prior to joining the Kaufman Organization, as Vice President of Bakewell Investment, Lorenzo oversaw the restructuring of his own family’s global real estate investments. Previously, he was Development Manager for a family-owned wine producer and real estate developer in Portugal, where he managed real estate development projects for the family, including a ground-up €34mm, 82-key, luxury hotel. Lorenzo is an alumnus of Columbia University, where he earned a B.A. with Honors in History and Philosophy, and a Fulbright Scholar. He earned his M.B.A from Columbia and London Business Schools, graduating with a distinction from the Global program.
